Libby Daultrey - Head of Family
Libby qualified in 1985 and deals primarily with financial aspects of family breakdown having a particular interest in pensions and pre-marital agreements.
Libby also deals with complex children cases and has been a member of the Law Society's Children Panel since 1990.
Outside of the office she enjoys running and cycling.

Jonathan Fail - Consultant
Jonathan has been with the firm since 1973. He is an experienced family law practitioner and is a member of the Law Society's Children Panel and the Family Law Panel.
He is a keen fell-walker and takes an active interest in current affairs.

Sahida Ahmed - Partner
Sahida studied law at Lancaster University and qualified in 1999. She joined Marsden Rawsthorn in 2003 and specialises in all aspects of family law with a particular focus on financial settlements in divorce including family businesses, and other practice areas relating to domestic violence, cohabitation disputes and both Private Law and Public Law Children disputes and is on the management committee for the Preston Women's Refuge and is also on the local Resolution Committee. Sahida has also handled matters dealing with child abduction involving foreign jurisdiction. She has a particular insight of the Shariah law in relation to divorces pertaining to clients of the Islamic faith and the cultural issues relating to Asian client's, and enjoys a very favourable reputation with clients from all walks of life. Sahida speaks both Gujerati and Urdu.
Sahida is also a member of the Law Societys Children Panel and is a qualified collaborative lawyer.
A keen traveller, Sahida also enjoys keeping fit, cooking and fashion.

Paul Jackson - Solicitor
Paul is based at our Chorley office and specialises in Public and Private law children cases and acts for both parents, children and other interested parties. He is a member of the Law Society Childrens Panel and the current Chair of the Chorley and South Ribble Domestic Violence Forum. During his career he has personally represented clients in the High Court and has been involved in cases in both the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords.
Paul's outside interests include walking, music, reading and writing and also enjoys fine food.

Susanne Shiers - Senior Paralegal
Susanne is based at our Chorley office and joins us from Lee Rigby Solicitors in Leyland where she worked for over eight years. Susanne brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and will focus on family law, including divorce and children matters and ancillary relief.
