Commercial Litigation Solicitor, Legal Executive or Experienced Para-Legal (Fulwood Office)

We are looking for a permanent Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Legal Executive or Experienced Para-Legal to join our busy and successful Dispute Resolution Team. The candidate should be self motivated, ambitious, dynamic and have a “can do” attitude. They will thrive on working as a member of our Dispute Resolution team.

The role will involve dealing with some general civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on land and property disputes. All necessary training and support will be provided. 

The Candidate will also have an enthusiasm for marketing themselves, the team and the firm and in establishing relationships with clients and potential work referrers. They will also be keen to develop a close working relationship with our residential and commercial property lawyers, to resolve disputes which their clients might have.

Experienced Wills, Trusts & Probate Solicitor or Experienced Para-Legal (Chorley Office)

We are looking to add an experienced Solicitor or Paralegal to our existing team based at our Buckshaw Village office.

Ideally we require a qualified solicitor with a minimum 5 years PQE or experience and with a proven background in dealing with a full range of Wills, Probate, Trusts (creation and administration), LPAs and some COP matters.  In addition the candidate should have experience of supervising junior fee earners, and possess excellent organisational and IT skills. A STEP qualification would be preferred but it is not essential.

The candidate will be required to :

  • Manage a busy caseload across a full range of Private Client Law
  • Ensure efficient file management including adherence to timescales; compliance with precedents, letters or documents on the case management system
  • Be responsible for all financial aspects of matters including time recording, and billing
  • To relate to clients at all levels and demonstrate excellent levels of client care
  • Good team player with collegial and collaborative approach
  • Supervise junior team members and report back to Head of Department
  • Able to forge and develop business relationships with an enthusiasm for networking and business development
  • Commercial acumen and appreciation of financial fundamentals
  • Genuine desire to be involved in the future growth plans for the firm
