Wills, Probate and Trusts Paralegal (Fulwood Office)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a progressive legal practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within an established and innovative team. This is a great opportunity. You will be initially assisting more senior members of the team with their cases and progressing to running your own files. You will be required to provide preliminary advice and guidance to clients on cases as well as preparing letters and documents for court cases. Therefore, your drafting skills should be such that you can produce clear and accurate written work with ease. You must be an effective communicator with rounded client care skills. Previous legal experience and a good standard of education are important.
The main responsibilities of the role will include; assisting with casework, attending clients, taking instructions and preparing cases, dealing with correspondence, maintaining accurate time costing procedures, implementing any recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews ensuring that these are dealt with promptly, ensuring compliance with file management.
Wills, Probate and Trusts Solicitor (Fulwood Office)
We require an experienced Wills, Probate and Trusts Solicitor to join our existing team.
Ideally we require a qualified solicitor with some 3 years PQE and with a proven background in dealing with a full range of Wills, Probate and Trust matter. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, customer service and team working skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. In addition the candidate should possess excellent organisational and IT skills. A STEP qualification would be preferred but it not essential.
The candidate will be required to:
Manage a busy caseload, process a variety of applications, ensure efficient file management including adherence to timescales; compliance with precedents, letters or documents on the case management system, be responsible for all financial aspects of matters including time recording and billing. You must be an effective communicator with rounded client care skills.
Child Care Practitioner with Children Panel Membership 8+ year PQE, able to effectively manage and supervise own case load, required by our high profile Lancashire based law firm undertaking predominantly Child Care work.

We are looking to recruit a full time Legal Secretary in our busy Private Client Department covering wills, trusts and probate. The candidate would be required to offer the specialised and caring support necessaryfor our clients and also must have previous experience of having worked in this area of law.
The position requires a team player with a 'can do' attitute who can provide high quality secretarial support to our team of lawyers producing accurate documentation by way of audio or copy typing. Diary management, opening and closing of files and the ability to prioritise a busy caseload.
