When we said wear your best Christmas jumper, some people took it to the extreme.
Our finance manager Karen Rawkins came in full inflatable elf regalia and spent the day negotiating people (and objects).
She managed not to take out an entire festive feasts stall and a fundraising hamper, which was won by one of our Commercial Team.
Everyone took part in the best dressed contest and there was some ‘reet good’ natty knitwear on display.
But the competition was all in good spirit, with the £250 raised going to the fantastic St Catherine’s Hospice, Lancashire.
St Catherine’s cares for patients and families across Chorley, Preston and South Ribble who are affected by life-shortening conditions like cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure.
Its specialised care helps people enjoy the best possible quality of life, to the end of life.
The hospice works with patients and their loved ones at the hospice and in their own homes to help them achieve what is important to them in the time they have.
It works creatively and collaboratively with other organisations, businesses, charities and local people to meet the needs of patients and their loved ones.
