Event Ends: Thursday the 20th of March 2014 at 17:00
We invite you to join us at our HR Networking forums – for people who manage people – to be held at our new Chorley office at Buckshaw Village on Thursday 20th March 2014
HR managers, from the team leaders to owner-managers, we are bringing together the professional HR management community in the Chorley and Leyland area. Come and join our get-together where you can meet and discuss and share ideas about your experiences in managing people.
We offer a relaxed environment to network with plenty of tea and coffee and a light breakfast too. It’s a morning start from 8.30am onwards, finishing around 11.30am.
It’s your Forum
We propose to run this forum once a quarter – it's your forum – so come along and make it happen.
The HR Forum will include an informative Employment Law Update presented by our inhouse expert James Bellamy and will include a guest speaker Andrew Stirrup from Fresh Perspective.
For over 15 years Andrew gained valuable commercial and managerial experience, working across four industries, where he dealt with a wide range of businesses from SME’s to major national accounts. His working knowledge of the major business disciplines, led him to conclude that a business’ level of success is always directly related to the quality of its leaders.
Through mentor Bob Proctor, Andrew gained a deep understanding of the psychological strategies that lead to success and the blockages to growth in business. He now assists business leaders to overcome these obstacles through a combination of mentoring, business and executive coaching and leadership training. He is retained as Consultant to a national trade association and a national training body.
There will also be an open floor for any questions and further discussion on human resource management and employment issues.
There will be plenty of free time to chat and get to know your fellow colleagues who also manage people.
