Congratulations to Katy Rider from our Dispute Resolution Team!
She has successfully completed the two-year education course for ACTAPS – an association for lawyers specialising in contentious wills, trusts and probate work.
Katy is committed to the ACTAPS code of conduct, as part of her associate membership, which ensures disputes are approached sensibly utilising alternative dispute resolution methods, where possible, to save costs and avoid court proceedings by the early exchange of information and documents.
Katy said: ““I am delighted to have received my certificate confirming my associate membership of ACTAPS. The completion of the course has expanded my contentious probate and trusts knowledge and skills, which will enable me to provide my clients with an even better service and understanding of an area law that is best served with a specialist lawyer.”
She is working her way to apply to become a full member in two years.
Katy is a Senior Associate with a strong focus on resolving disputes efficiently, cost effectively, and with clear advice.
