Monday 19th January 2009

Leading Lancashire law firm Marsden Rawsthorn has appointed Suzanne Gallagher to its Commercial Property Department.

Suzanne joins Marsden Rawsthorn as part of plans to drive forward its Commercial Property department. She will be responsible for all aspects of Commercial Property transactions including purchase/sale of commercial property, grant of leases, assignment of leases and purchase/sale of businesses.

Marsden Rawsthorn is renowned as a firm with a clear vision and a progressive culture and the reputation of its Commercial Property department is second to none. said Suzanne. I had dealt with the team on various matters in the past and its level of professionalism impressed me every time. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge and experience of Commercial Property, learning from my more experienced colleagues and having the opportunity to deal with leading businesses in the local area.

Suzanne was previously a Supervisor of the Conveyancing Department at Mohammed and Co. Solicitors, Stoneygate, Preston and she aims to progress to this level again at Marsden Rawsthorn. She attended the Lancashire Law School, at the University of Central Lancashire, before going on to Chester Law School to complete the Legal Practice Course. She qualified as a solicitor on 1 November 2004 and has been working in property for over 4 years. We are delighted to have Suzanne join the team, says Charles Maher, Chief Executive at Marsden Rawsthorn. Her passion and enthusiasm is a real asset to the Commercial Property Department, and the firm as a whole. We wish Suzanne a successful and happy future with Marsden Rawsthorn.

Suzanne is a Lancastrian through-and-through, being born in Blackburn, she grew up mainly in Chorley, and currently lives in Leyland. When shes not working at Marsden Rawsthorn she runs the Leyland Women's Running Network, and has recently started kickboxing, which she finds is a great form of exercise and fantastic de-stressor. She is also doing a parachute jump in May for Help a Local Child in conjunction with Rock FM. The charity helps disadvantaged children in Preston and Leyland to purchase items that make a massive difference to their lives, which otherwise, they would not have been able to afford.
