Leading Lancashire law firm Marsden Rawsthorn has joined forces with Torquil Clark, Independent Financial Advisers, to launch Marsden Rawsthorn Wealth Management, becoming the first solicitors in the region to offer such a service.
Launched in January 2013, the new joint venture will provide investment, retirement, estate and protection planning for high net-worth individuals, helping them to gain greater control over their personal finances.
Marsden Rawsthorn offers legal guidance to clients throughout the North West from offices in Preston and Chorley. Marsden Rawsthorn Wealth Management will compliment these services by providing Independent Financial Advice to both new and existing clients, as well as employers looking for help with issues concerning Auto Enrolment and Workplace Pensions.
A team of qualified and experienced Financial Planners will be based in the firm's Preston offices in Fulwood, and a new website has been launched at www.mrwealth.co.uk. Janine Wilson, Chartered Financial Planner at Marsden Rawsthorn Wealth Management, said: "We are very excited to launch this joint venture at a time when individuals are becoming more and more concerned about investments, pensions and protecting their estates."
"As wealth managers, our team is well-placed to advise clients on their future investment strategy, whether that be saving for retirement or protecting their family’s inheritance. “We will identify specific goals and advise them on the next steps to take to ensure their money is being managed in the best possible way."
Marsden Rawsthorn is the only law firm in Lancashire to provide a dedicated wealth management service, and the launch of Marsden Rawsthorn Wealth Management comes just months after the appointment of Debbie Pettitt as the first non-solicitor chief executive in the company's history.
