MP Lindsay Hoyle Opens new Buckshaw Office for Marsden Rawsthorn
Monday 10th June 2013
Marsden Rawsthorn Solicitors saw the official opening of its new office in Buckshaw Village on Friday (7 June 2013) by Lindsay Hoyle, MP for Chorley.
Guests, including local businesses and current clients, received a warm welcome at the early evening drinks and reception. Attendees enjoyed a first-look at the impressive 5,000 sq ft open plan, modern office space, which supports our plans for growth.
Speaking at the event, Lindsay Hoyle MP said: "We wholeheartedly welcome businesses such as Marsden Rawsthorn showing their confidence in Chorley by relocating their expanding firm to Buckshaw Village.
The vision for the former Royal Ordnance site was to create a mixed use, sustainable development that would support its own community as well as contributing to the overall prosperity of the Chorley borough. Buckshaw Village has been a tremendous success in leveraging investment, creating jobs and developing a vibrant community that includes affordable housing, high specification offices and manufacturing units, a school and a growing retail offer.
Despite the continued economic uncertainty, Chorley borough is thriving and this is in no small part due to the investment of local and regional businesses in the area."
The move from our former offices on St Thomas’s Road in the town will accommodate our growing client base and make us more accessible with the added convenience of free on-site parking and extended opening hours.
Debbie Pettitt, chief executive at Marsden Rawsthorn, believes that the company and its clients are already benefitting from the move. She said: "The larger, open-plan office is already proving advantageous, with improved interactivity amongst team members providing the most efficient service possible. The move has really paved the way for the company's future, which is essential as we continue to expand."
Marsden Rawsthorn has a long association with Chorley with a base in the town for over 70 years. The firm employs 85 staff across its two offices in Preston and Chorley and offers expertise in all aspects of law including business & commerce, property, dispute resolution, family law and wills & administration of estates.
