Marsden Rawsthorn shortlisted for three awards in Lancashire Business Awards

Chorley Office TeamWe are delighted that Marsden Rawsthorn has been shortlisted for three awards in the Lancashire Business Awards hosted by Downtown Lancashire in Business.

Downtown Lancashire in Business will be hosting the sixth annual Lancashire Business Awards this autumn. The awards, which honour the most successful entrepreneurs and high growth companies from across Lancashire, take place on the evening of Thursday 7th November at the spectacular Stanley House Hotel.

Marsden Rawsthorn is shortlisted in the following categories:

Law Firm of the Year – with extensive recruitment of new team members since the start of the year and the relocation of our Chorley office to a larger, open-plan office in Buckshaw Village which provides clients with much improved facilities, it has been a busy year! Future plans include developing our services to provide greater online access to further improve the excellent service that our clients enjoy.

Female Networker of the Year – since her appointment as Business Development Manager at Marsden Rawsthorn, Janet has forged many working relationships with regional networking groups and with local community bodies in the region. 

“Marsden Rawsthorn is fully committed to being involved in the communities in which we operate. I’m currently developing our Community Support Initiative which will include local events and fundraising for the local community. We already raise funds for a number of charities and we want to ensure that our local community benefits from this.”

Woman of the Year – As the guiding force behind the strategic development and growth of Marsden Rawsthorn, Debbie set out at the start of the year as our new CEO.
As the first non-solicitor Chief Executive in the Firm’s history, her commercial background experience gained in the IT sector, has enabled the firm to make the necessary changes to both structure and direction to compete in an increasingly commercially aware and digital market.
