We are delighted that Marsden Rawsthorn has been shortlisted for three awards in the Lancashire Business Awards hosted by Downtown Lancashire in Business.
Downtown Lancashire in Business will be hosting the sixth annual Lancashire Business Awards this autumn. The awards, which honour the most successful entrepreneurs and high growth companies from across Lancashire, take place on the evening of Thursday 7th November at the spectacular Stanley House Hotel.
Marsden Rawsthorn is celebrating a duo of team achievements, with two members of staff taking their next step on the career ladder.
Danielle Leeming and Victoria Kelly have been recognised by the leading legal practice for their outstanding contribution to the company, its clients and the wider community.
The law firm, which has offices in both Preston and Chorley, has provided each employee with excellent career development opportunities within the company in order to help fulfil their professional aspirations.
Ashley Marshall, Wills and Probate solicitor at Marsden Rawsthorn urges people to consider making a lasting power of attorney (LPA) following the government’s decision to reduce the cost to register by approximately 15%.
The fee to register an LPA was previously £130. This has now been reduced to £110 due to changes in the management of the schemes, including the introduction of new technology and improved efficiency, according to the Ministry of Justice.
