At Marsden Rawsthorn Solicitors we believe in helping, not only our own clients but also local and national charities doing their best to assist others going through hardship.
Throughout November Marsden Rawsthorn will be offering free Wills in support of both Will Aid, which provides funding to various charities, and during 9th to 14th November for St Catherine’s Hospice Wills Week. This is a chance for clients to have new Wills while also pledging generous donations to charity.
Marsden Rawsthorn Solicitors is partnering with local women's refuge Clare House this month to promote the White Ribbon campaign – 16 days of direct action against domestic violence.
Launching on 25 November, which is Violence Against Women's Day, and running through to 10 December, International Human Rights Day, the White Ribbon campaign will raise awareness of domestic violence specifically targeting women who are aged 45 and over.
Research by Clare House has identified that women in this particular age group are the hardest to reach and less likely to come forward for support, possibly because they have been married for quite some time and feel like there is no way out.
