Divorce Solicitors

Divorces can often become complicated but should you need it our family law experts are also very experienced in providing advice on other divorce-related issues such as;

  • Financial implications on dividing family assets including the family home, a business or pensions
  • Children – Live with and contact arrangements
  • Child maintenance
  • Counselling, Mediation and Arbitration
  • Clean Break Settlements

We aim to offer all our clients the best quality legal support to enable them to amicably resolve their issues, but we are sensitive to clients needs and we can tailor the work we do to suit what our clients can afford. From the very start, we will be transparent with you about pricing so you can plan and consider your options.

It is always our aim to avoid court proceedings for clients wherever possible and our lawyers will try their very best to encourage a fair settlement and resolve your dispute using alternative avenues to court,  such as mediation or other forms of alternate dispute resolution. We can help you decide on the best way forward for your individual case and will strive to resolve the matter in a way that minimises unnecessary costs or distress.  However, if Court proceedings are unavoidable we have lawyers in the team with many years of litigation experience and who have dealt with all complexities of applications.

Divorce Legal Fees

We do offer a fixed fee divorce service should you not require advice on finances or children for example.

At the first meeting, your lawyer will discuss your circumstances with you to enable you both to fully understand what is involved and the extent of the advice and support needed. Not every case is clear cut though and there may of course be unexpected developments throughout the case, meaning that further advice or a different route is needed. If that should happen it is not a problem and such changes can be discussed and put in place accordingly.

We have legal experts in the firm who can help you plan for the future beyond your divorce, for example, if you are likely to need a new will or Lasting Power of Attorney or may need to set up a trust or discuss a family business issue.

With the years of experience that our family team have in dealing with divorces and related issues, you can be truly confident that your lawyer will be equipped to deal with your individual circumstances and that they will act in your best interests at all times to gain the best possible outcome for you.

For confidential help and support about starting the process to get a divorce or any other issues relating to divorce, you can call us on 0800 294 4410.

Family Law Clinic

We offer a free family law clinic each week where new clients of the firm with family-related issues can have a free and confidential 30-minute consultation with one of our family lawyers. Please call us or click here for further information about when the next clinic is taking place.
